Pawan Arya
AI governance, enterprise transformation, and responsible AI adoption — two decades of accountable delivery in regulated sectors, complemented by five years of entrepreneurial experience in renewable infrastructure and technology: EV charging, solar PV, and BESS at SMB scale. Now focused on board-defensible decisions across strategy, data, agentic programmes, and greentech deployment.
Founder's biography
Independent advisory, grounded in delivery.
Pawan Arya is the founder of The Rest Is AI, an independent advisory and research initiative helping enterprises build the governance, data, and operating-model foundations that responsible AI adoption depends on. He started The Rest Is AI in 2026 to bring a perspective forged inside the highest-stakes, most heavily regulated transformation programmes in UK financial services, insurance, and energy directly to boards now grappling with AI strategy and adoption.
Over more than 20 years, Pawan has led and rescued complex, high-risk change programmes — collectively worth over £150m — for institutions including Lloyds Banking Group, QBE Insurance Group, TSB Bank, and the University of East Anglia. That track record spans the disciplines that now sit at the centre of enterprise AI readiness: data governance and quality remediation, regulatory and risk assurance, operating-model redesign, and large-scale vendor and platform ecosystems.
He combines that delivery pedigree with a founder's instinct for building something new: he founded and scaled Pretium EV Charging Infra & Solutions to a 300-customer greentech business, and completed the AI-Driven Business Transformation Executive Programme at Oxford's Saïd Business School in 2026. The Rest Is AI is the synthesis of both — advisory-first, built to make AI decisions that boards can defend. Where implementation must be provably governed, the same ownership built Aadi — a privacy-focused platform for enterprise agentic applications — as optional proof, not the default answer.

Proof · Optional implementation
When AI must stay private, auditable, and human-governed.
TRIAI advisory stays vendor-neutral. Aadi is the platform Pawan built to show what privacy-first, agentic AI looks like when governance is engineered in — not bolted on after the pilot.
We discuss Aadi when clients ask about implementation options or sovereign architecture. We recommend alternatives when they serve the client better.
-
Privacy & sovereignty
Swiss-hosted by default, tenant-isolated instances, and per-conversation sovereignty routing — so sensitive data and audit trails stay inside a defined trust boundary.
-
Agentic, not autonomous
Multi-step workflows with memory, planning, and scoped tools — plus human approval before action. Agentic applications governed the same way as any other AI programme.
-
Stack-agnostic
The LLM layer is replaceable; governance, logging, and human-in-the-loop controls are not. Built to prove architecture, not to lock you to one vendor.
